AND BUILDING PRODUCTS’ TRADE SHOWS

Agency Gets a First Hand Look at the Companies and Products
Driving the Industry

Always present on the exhibition floor, Kleber & Associates (K&A) is on the forefront of the most important tradeshows within the housing industry. Implementing a nationwide trade show program allows companies to bring their brand experience to center stage. Showcasing our clients’ newest products in front of thousands of customers and media professionals has allowed K&A to gain valuable public relations exposure and achieve measurable results. In just two short months, K&A has attended three shows and will hit up one more before the year comes to an end! The most recent trade show stops included The HD Boutique Show, Green+Design Conference & Expo and the 2007 Remodeling Show in Las Vegas.

Insight into the World of Hospitality

Sunny Miami revealed great things while hosting the HD Boutique Show - a tradeshow focused specifically on the Hospitality Design industry. The “greening” of products was seen from faucets and flooring to wallpaper. Companies such as Hunter Douglas Hospitality, DecoLav, Moen, MTI Whirlpools and Palecek Furniture exhibited to boast their latest and greatest products. As displayed by the growing number of attendance at this niche show, the Hospitality industry is one that will continue to surge ahead as a valuable segment.

More Green Please

Among the new trade shows this year, K&A also participated at the national Green+Design Conference and Expo held in Atlanta on October 1. The show granted exclusive access into the world of green design trends across several markets including commercial, hospitality, retail, and residential kitchen and bath green design.

The agency also met with a leading kitchen and bath products supplier, Alterna Corp., represending companies such as Caroma and Sustainable Solutions. In a unique offering, the firm has “packaged” an entire suite of green products for the marketplace—from low flow showerheads to dual flush toilets even bamboo flooring and countertops. 

Ready, Set, Remodel!

Professional remodelers and manufacturers from across the nation recently gathered at the 2007 Remodeling Show held at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas. This three-day event, held in mid-October, was jam-packed with educational seminars and how-to clinics discussing topics spanning from making profits and using advanced technology, to product demonstrations on the show floor.

Focusing on spending increases and purchasing objectives of the consumer, the conference gave insight into today’s latest remodeling and consumer spending trends. With America’s housing market not only slowing, but instead its housing stock aging remodeling professionals have seen a steady increase in renovation and remodeling spending.

On the show floor, innovation and curb appeal were two key product features. One of K&A’s newest client partners, Eternal® by Grand Hall, premiered the world’s first hybrid water heater. Eternal’s hybrid technology combines the best of tank and tankless, and overcomes the limitations of both. Another K&A client, KOMA Trim Products, proudly displayed its new line of Allure mouldings intended to complement its flat trim boards to increase curb appeal. KOMA also showcased its entire line of PVC products including wood grain boards, corner boards, and flat boards, now available in both Freefoam and Celuka technologies.

From small shows to large, K&A has traveled near and far making valuable connections and soaking up the latest design trends. We are heading out on the show circuit for even more exciting shows this season. Look for updates from GreenBuild 2007 and IBS 2008. Next year at IBS, our agency will be presenting its latest research on “outdoor living” and we look forward to seeing you on the show floor!
