K&A NOT JUST CALIFORNIA DREAMING

San Francisco and Southern California Were The Places to be This June

First Stop: PCBC

The Pacific Coast Builder’s Conference (PCBC) is known to be a quieter, more relaxed tradeshow than some that come earlier in the year including K/BIS and IBS. Although attendance is a bit lower, the quality of contacts and the products introduced at PCBC are top rate. These contacts produce leads for those who exhibit as the audience is serious about uncovering the hottest offerings and making business commitments.

Some new products that caught the K&A team’s eye –

  • GE’s new Café line is beautifully designed and executed with a retro styled logo, priced for the Emerging Homeowner generation
  • Hy-Lite introduced a new window style, adding to its traditional acrylic glass block product line
  • Eternal continues to get endless attention with its hybrid water heater. Located in the West Hall and awarded a top spot in PCBC’s Top 20 Cool Products, Eternal drew the crowd to get a PK on its technology. Check out our comments on them from K/BIS (Link here to K/BIS wrap up).
  • Diva de Provence unveiled its new induction range – the first of its kind in the category and a crowd favorite at the show.

Next Stop: K&A Southern California Media Tour

Over the two days great days spent in Southern California, K&A met with our friends at

Building Products Digest, Bon Appétit, Travel and Leisure, Western Interiors and Design, and Robb Report. Personal contact with these industry leading publications and an opportunity to show off client products that are some of the hottest anywhere resulted in what will be lasting success.

K&A’s quarterly media tours are one-on-one time with editors that continue to build new and existing media relationships and net great earned media placements for our clients and their products. Later this summer K&A will be visiting with editors at Southern Progress (Cottage Living, Southern Living, etc.) and this fall, NYC will be taken by storm for the second time in 2007.
