K&A HITS THE STREETS IN NYC
The recent New York City media tour was a tremendous success for K&A and its clients! While visiting the “city that never sleeps” we had hour-long media appointments with Woman’s Day and its SIPs, Kitchen + Bath Portfolio, Connecticut/Hamptons Cottages & Gardens, Home Channel News, TWICE, Interior Decorator’s Handbook, Designer and Real Simple.
The media tour gave K&A the chance to showcase our clients and their products and services in an informal, one-on-one setting. K&A also learned how specific editors like to receive product information, effective pitch tactics and what they believe are the hot, new trends in the home industry (see segment below). Editorial calendars for 2007 are now in the planning phase and we were able to get a sneak peak of what the publications’ 2007 are going to look like.

K&A will continue to conduct media tours in a proactive effort to promote our clients in the home industry. We see these meetings as great venues to further develop ongoing relationships with the media. And what better way to gain exposure than a personal meeting with leading editors in the industry.
