SITUATION:

Mr. Steam®, manufacturer of the world’s most luxurious line of steam showers, steam baths, Aromasteam, and Chromasteam systems was about to go into economic therapy, due to a slowdown in the “luxury home spa” market.  However, Mr. Steam® had no intention of taking a cold bath and was adamant about maintaining leadership in the steam category.

TASK:

The K&A team was brought in to provide some expert marketing stimulation. They were asked to revive Mr. Steam® as a quality provider of steam therapy products.

ACTION:

K&A’s strategy was to ease Mr. Steam® out of the luxury market and reposition them into a new one: health and wellness. Through a creative and targeted print media effort, we appealed to the growing trend in holistic healing.  By integrating a consumer education campaign to promote the health benefits of Mr. Steam’s® wellness product line, we made “total wellness a way of life. ™”

RESULTS:
