K&A Recaps the 2008 Remodeling Show
The K&A team recently hit the trade show circuit for the 2008 Remodeling Show. This year’s show took place September 10-12 at the Baltimore Convention Center. Now in its 18th year, this show is solely dedicated to showcasing the newest in innovative products and supplying education from industry experts on everything from trends to managing your company’s finances. A special highlight at the show for Kleber & Associates, Steve Kleber, delivered a powerful presentation on “Marketing to Generation Green.” He discussed how understanding the DNA makeup of Generation Green and the marketing strategies that motivate this dynamic attitudinal group can lead to brand success.
While show attendance was lower compared to previous years, attendees had a chance to network with other professionals and converse about what they were seeing in various markets. KOMA Trim Products garnered attention for its Water Table, as well as the Soffit system from show goers and the media. Be sure to catch the HGTV-Pro video recapping the show where footage was shot right from the booth and will air on HGTV.Com. Other manufacturers generating attention were Fantech and Forbo Flooring. As a world leader in high-end linoleum products, Forbo, is comprised of three divisions including; flooring, bonding and movement systems. Fantech, a leader in residential and light commercial ventilation, also made a big impression at the show. Offering solutions for the bath, kitchen, laundry room and overall indoor air quality, Fantech has an application that will fit most any room.
In all, this year’s Remodeling Show was a great success. Gaining insight into the competitive landscape and what the experts have to say about the current economic conditions, allowed the K&A team to strengthen its position as a trusted thought leader in the home and building products industry.
