Carlisle Wide Plank Flooring

Carlisle Wide Plank Floors

Company Overview

For more than 50 years, Carlisle Wide Plank Floors has handcrafted the finest wood floors in America – each one reflecting the natural beauty of the highest quality materials available. We take great pride in time-honored processes, from responsibly sourcing the soundest and most reliable timber grown in America’s forests to embracing a level of craftsmanship equally at home with traditional rustic themes or with fashion-forward style. We believe every detail of every floor matters. From creating just the right shade of gray to the nuance of a hand-scraped edge, we collaborate with each client to define a personalized, custom-made floor. And, whether that floor is selected from our extensive curated collections or uniquely designed to match a specific vision, it will be realized in the same way: one plank at a time.

Headquartered in Stoddard, New Hampshire, Carlisle also has showrooms in Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, New York, San Francisco and Washington, DC. For more information, visit www.wideplankflooring.com.

High Quality Materials

The wood used in Carlisle flooring is taken from the “heart” of the tree. This approach emphasizes more of the vertical grain and heartwood features for a truly authentic look along with superior strength and longterm stability. The company sustainably harvests its wood from regions in the country where each species grows best to ensure the highest quality specimens.

Artisan Craftsmanship – From Forest to Floor
A true wide plank floor cannot be mass-produced. Wider and longer planks create fewer seams and joints, resulting in less interruption of the natural lines of both the wood and the room for a more streamlined
look. Each Carlisle plank is carefully selected and then touched by up to two dozen skilled craftspersonsbefore being delivered to the customer. The brand’s unique coating process enhances the deep, rich hues of the wood, enabling the beauty of the grain to shine through while offering colors that complement a wide range of decor styles.

To the artisans, every grain pattern and color variation tells a story and they work painstakingly to bring to life the natural essence of every piece of wood, creating a truly unique, made-to-order product.

Green & Sustainability
Carlisle is committed to creating beautiful custom floors while preserving and supporting a sustainable environment. The company works with a carefully selected group of suppliers who uphold the highest standards of sustainability and do not practice clear-cutting. Only mature trees at the end of their natural lifecycle are used.

The brand’s floors contain no measurable VOCs and are CARB2 compliant. In addition, by crafting one floor at a time and avoiding mass production, Carlisle dramatically reduces material waste. By-products from the manufacturing process are recycled into bio bricks for use in wood burning stoves

Made in the USA
Carlisle floors are made in the USA using wood sourced exclusively from American foresters and sawyers located in the Northeast, the Appalachian Mountain range and select pockets of the Midwest. More than 90 percent of the timber used to craft Carlisle floors comes from suppliers located within 500 miles of Carlisle’s mill in Stoddard, New Hampshire, resulting in a very small carbon footprint.

A Personal Touch
From creating just the right shade of gray to the nuance of a hand-scraped edge, Carlisle collaborates with

(engineered/solid), grade, width, texture and almost unlimited colors.
Whether the floor is selected from the brand’s extensive curated collections or designed to match a specific
