RIGHT AT HOME®
At Kleber and Associates, we work with our clients to develop the right combination of building product marketing communications. There is no “one size fits all” plan at K&A—we analyze every client situation and recommend whatever actions are optimal to ensure success.
Here are some examples of the services we offer:
K&A uses a wide range of building product marketing materials for both consumer and business-to-business trade advertising, including magazines, outdoor, bus shelters and direct response. Our proven methodology is to identify and analyze audiences, determine how best to reach them, and then to communicate accordingly. We develop creative messages that both engage audiences and drive purchase behavior. We create work that is strategically sound and connects on an emotional level—with stunning results.
We believe marketing communications should speak with a single voice, and each of our clients should have a consistent personality, integrated across media, from advertising to web pages to trade shows. That’s one of the primary responsibilities of our design team—providing a consistent look and feel. Browse through our work, and you’ll see multiple examples of integrated campaigns with a consistent voice, including print advertising, product brochures, collateral design, logo creation, catalog design, web pages, email blasts, trade show booth design and more.
K&A partners with leading media coverage and social analytics firms to track earned media placements and validate results for our clients. We analyze key metrics to assess performance, refine strategy and bolster our approach. We also monitor the Social Media landscape to keep up with key competitors and influencers. By understanding how people engage with content and interact with brands, we can truly understand what works and what needs refinement.
K&A has developed and designed multiple websites, microsites and landing pages for our clients in the past, including Gerber Plumbing Fixtures, Elmira Stove Works and WoodTrac Closet Systems. We also maintain existing sites for several clients, uploading content and images through WordPress and other content management systems.
We offer a wide range of Content Marketing services focused on the residential and commercial construction industries. We understand how designers think. We speak the language of architects and contractors. That’s why we’re able to create engaging and memorable content on behalf of our clients—everything from blog posts to podcasts, web videos to white papers—linking our clients to current trends and keeping an eye on what’s next. We constantly network with industry editors and influencers, finding feature article opportunities and striking key messages for our clients’ brands.
Let K&A develop a custom Content Strategy for your business. We’ll identify goals, define objectives, and determine which audiences you need to reach. We’ll show you how easy it is to turn Content into Customers.
Successful PR efforts are built on relationships, and at K&A, we’ve developed solid relationships with the top media organizations in the home and building products industry. After 28 years focusing on a single industry, we know the media executives, the reporters and bloggers, and which trends will resonate with which audience. We leverage our relationships every day to place products and images into publications and online news sources.
In the past few years, programming developed around specific home and building product groups has become much more prevalent, from HGTV and DIY to The Cooking Channel. Our relationships with producers and production companies have led to our clients being featured on multiple highly rated shows, including The Apprentice, Good Eats, and Bob Vila’s Home Again.
On the syndicated show Livin’ Large, our client studiobecker was featured building a gigantic custom closet for the show’s host, Carmen Electra. For our client Mr. Steam, K&A negotiated a four-minute live demonstration of the Allegro Sauna on Fox & Friends, featuring the company’s CEO sitting with the hosts inside a steam cabinet. Appliances from Elmira Stove Works were regularly featured on Rachel Ray’s show, 30 Minute Meals, and Nadia G’s Bitchin’ Kitchen. In 2014, K&A negotiated with the DIY Network to feature WoodTrac closet systems on Rev Run’s Renovation.
In recent years, third-party blogs have consistently grown in influence—so much so, that when consumers research products to buy online, bloggers are among their most sought-after information sources. That’s why K&A created the only Blogger Network focused exclusively on home and building products (you can read more about it here).
Our client WoodTrac is already utilizing the K&A Blogger Network, resulting in extensive coverage and placements about their closet organization and wood ceiling products.
We know what it takes to engage audiences and get people talking. It’s essential to combine online outreach—bloggers, web videos and user-generated content—with traditional marketing initiatives like media relations, collateral and print advertising. In our experience, an effective mix of paid and unpaid media is the best approach for ensuring success.
Web video has emerged as an essential element to
online content marketing. Our creative director is an accomplished writer, director and editor,
giving us in-house production capabilities that many agencies have to go outside for. From simple product demonstrations to elaborate graphic animations, K&A is able to deliver the quality you need on a surprisingly affordable budget.
Trade Show Support
We are regular participants at more than 10 regional and national trade shows each year, including the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS). Greenbuild, NeoCon, the Remodeling Show, International Builders Show. Hospitality Design Show, Pacific Coast Builders Conference and the Southern Building Conference.
Our years of experience marketing home and building products have taught us what motivates and attracts audiences within the industry, and enables us to develop impactful and engaging trade show materials as well as pre-show marketing, one-on-one media appointments and post-show follow-ups.
