K&A Trend-Spotting Team Meets with Industry Editors
By: Dominique Lescalleet
Growing and nurturing relationships with editors plays an important role within the public relations community. The K&A annual media tour is designed to do just that, but it’s not just a one-sided mission. Our goal is to provide editors with upcoming trend and story ideas to consider in the coming months; we offer ourselves and clients as go-to resources, which is designed to make their jobs just a bit easier.
This year, the K&A team visited the windy city of Chicago, and connected with editors specifically within the home and building industry, including those from the following publications…
During the tour, the K&A public relations team presented story ideas for a range of topics surrounding the residential and commercial building spaces. From how color therapy can shape the design of an office break room to incorporating stainless steel — a naturally sustainable material — in outdoor living spaces, our team positioned ourselves and clients as subject-matter experts.
We would like to thank each of the editors for participating in our 2016 Chicago media tour as well as the clients involved:
- Elmira Stove Works: Kitchen Appliances
- Feeney, Inc.: Cable Rail Systems
- Gama Sonic: Solar Lighting
- MIA + BSI: The Natural Stone Institute
- WoodTrac by Sauder: Closet Systems
