There were plenty of products on display at the International Woodworking Fair held August 24 – 27 at the World Congress Center in Atlanta, and tradeshow attendees may have noticed there was no shortage when it came to hardware. Whether you’re a minimalist looking for a simple brush metal handle or a designer looking for the latest trends in decorative knobs, there was something for everyone at IWF 2016.
Exhibitors offered everything from the classic looks in traditional hardware to those who were looking to add a bit of bling to their décor. More specifically, Shanghai Glory Hardware Company Ltd. offered some unique pieces that can add a whimsical touch to any set of drawers or cabinets. Hardware Resources featured a variety of hardware options, with its 2,400 products for kitchens, baths, and closets.
And speaking of closets, when thinking hardware, think beyond just handles and knobs – think hooks, organizers, hinges, door mechanisms and more. Guangzhou Wellmax Hardware Co. Ltd. offered an array of hardware for organizing everything from the kitchen pantry to closets to utility rooms.
Jako Hardware Aventura Inc. was on hand taking cabinets and vanities from ordinary to extraordinary with Swarovski crystal handles and knobs. And for all those in favor of no more slamming and banging of shower doors, Jako demonstrated its innovative sliding door system that features a soft stop.
This was just a few of the hardware highlights from IWF 2016. If you missed it, you can always catch IWF 2018 for what’s new and trending in innovative and decorative hardware.
