According to the 2018 U.S. Houzz Bathroom Trends Study, bathroom renovations continue to rise. While Baby Boomers choosing to age in place account for the largest share of homeowners’ renovation spend, the uptick in bathroom remodels isn’t limited to those 55 and over. Across all demographics, more than 15 percent of homeowners remodeled (or have planned to remodel) a bathroom in 2018, with a median investment of $7,000 per project.
