I wrote recently about the great strides Chiquita is making to encourage consumer interaction with its brand by allowing individuals to design their own banana stickers. How are some now repurposing items such as junk mail, kelp and even boxes that once held bananas into something brilliant? By creating home products that are not only unique home décor, but incredibly eco-friendly.
One of the best ways to help the environment is avoid adding to landfills. These items for the home – recycled and surely to spark a conversation – give new life to used plastic, day-old newspapers and scraps of wood.
Which of these would you most like to see in your home?
